As we approach our final weekend of the 2024 cricket season, there are a couple of social events to highlight and requests for help before we all retreat into hibernation.

Final game of the season
Saturday sees the final games of the season for our 5 senior Cherwell League teams. The games start at the same time as last week (which is 30mins earlier than the usual times). After the game, please join us back at Boundary Park where Jordan will have the pizza oven one last time. Speak to your captains regarding attire.

Awards Day - juniors and seniors
This year, junior and senior awards will be on the same day - Saturday 14th September. Please join us to celebrate each other's efforts and achievements throughout the 2024 season.

Junior awards start at 1pm where there will be plenty of fun, games and ice cream.

Senior awards start at 6:30pm where there will be a hog roast (veggie option also available). To attend, please purchase your tickets beforehand (this has already been assigned to you via pitchero).

Marquee building
We will need all the help we can muster to erect marquees for the awards day. We plan to do this one evening next week - Weds (11th), Thurs (12th) or Fri (13th) depending on the weather forecast. Look out for a message early in the week to confirm. Please come down to help make the awards day a success.

Putting the ground to bed
We will put the ground to bed on Sunday 15th September from midday - again weather permitting. Please spare any time you have available to help with this, it usually only takes around an hour.

Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held post season on Thursday 17th October. Keep an eye out for further information in due course.
